Background

The Appling County Board of Commissioners is issuing a solicitation for the construction of the North Side Park Splashpad. Work Details

The contract involves the construction of a +/- 2,250 square foot splashpad at North Side Park. The scope of work includes: site grading, installation of 4-inch concrete sidewalks, fencing, concrete decking, demolition of an existing pool, additional grading, grassing, and implementation of erosion control measures as specified in the project plans. All necessary items to properly construct the park are included.

Period of Performance

All work must be completed within 150 consecutive calendar days from the date of notice to proceed.

The construction will take place at North Side Park located in Baxley, Georgia.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must submit a sealed bid accompanied by a Bidder's Bond for 10 percent of the bid amount. Required documents include: bid bond or certified check, work experience documentation, affidavit of non-collusion, contractor's license number (if applicable), certification of non-segregated facilities, drug-free workplace certification, contractor's certification regarding debarment, equal opportunity clause, and E-Verify Form.
