Food Service Management Company

Background

Chattahoochee Hills Charter School (CHCS) is seeking a Food Service Management Company (FSMC) to provide food service management services for its School Nutrition Program. The goal of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to explore alternatives to the current food service program and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations. The contract will be effective from July 1, 2026, to June 30, 2027.

Work Details

The FSMC will be responsible for delivering ready-to-serve meals, offering free, reduced-price, and full-price reimbursable meals to eligible children, and ensuring that all meals meet USDA meal patterns. Specific services include: 1. Delivering meals by 9:30 AM daily. 2. Providing a la carte options and catering services as needed. 3. Implementing a point of service count system. 4. Making necessary dietary substitutions for students with disabilities as per their Individual Educational Plans (IEPs). 5. Participating in menu planning with an advisory board composed of students, teachers, and parents. 6. Following a 21-day cycle menu that meets federal and state requirements. 7. Documenting all expenses related to the Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Program (FFVP) separately.

Period of Performance

The contract period is from July 1, 2026, to June 30, 2027.

Place of Performance

Services will be performed at Chattahoochee Hills Charter School located at 9670 Rivertown Rd, Fairburn GA, 30213.

Bidder Requirements

Offerors must be incorporated or licensed to do business in Georgia and must be on or willing to be on the utilized list of FSMC vendors with the School Nutrition Division of the Georgia Department of Education (GaDOE). They must submit annual financial statements and demonstrate experience with similar school food authorities.
