This acquisition aims to address a critical analytical capability gap for method development and validation in food additive analysis, enhancing the FDA's ability to ensure food safety and regulatory compliance. Work Details The contract includes the delivery, installation, training, and warranty support for a single quadrupole mass spectrometer system that will integrate with the existing Thermo Scientific ICS-5000+ ion chromatograph. The core items required include: - Thermo Scientific ISQ EC Single Quad Mass Spectrometer (Part# ISQEC-IC) - Various components such as valves, licenses, assembly kits, cables, columns, and installation services. Optional items include a replacement ion chromatograph system and various additional components to enhance functionality. The system must meet specific performance standards including enhanced sensitivity for detection of food additives in complex matrices, seamless integration with existing systems, and operational flexibility across diverse analytical methods. Period of Performance Delivery and installation shall be completed within sixty (60) calendar days after award. The warranty period shall be one (1) year beginning upon Government acceptance.
