Background The City of Rio Communities is entering into an Emergency Facilities & Land Use Agreement with the EMNRD Forestry Division for the use of Fire Station 1 as a staging and meeting area during emergency incidents. The agreement aims to facilitate effective management and coordination during emergencies, specifically while in Type 3 status. Work Details The contract involves the use of Fire Station 1's meeting room, parking lot, and engine bays for various purposes including staging, donation collection/storage, briefings, and responder staging. The facilities will be utilized from March 24, 2026, to March 29, 2026. The payment rate is set at $350.00 per day for a total maximum payment not exceeding $2,100.00 over the six-day period. This rate includes utility charges for diesel, gas, electricity, water, toilet supplies, janitorial services & supplies, trash removal, septic service, and existing telecommunications. Restoration beyond ordinary wear and tear is included in the agreement. Period of Performance The contract will be performed from March 24, 2026, to March 29, 2026. Place of Performance Fire Station 1 located at 108 Rio Communities Blvd, Rio Communities, NM 87002.
