Background

The Incorporated County of Los Alamos is seeking qualified providers to deliver comprehensive Trauma-Informed Care Certification Training aimed at enhancing staff capacity in effectively serving individuals impacted by trauma. This initiative aligns with the County's mission to strengthen safe, responsive, and trauma-informed practices across its work locations.

Work Details

The contractor shall provide training to Los Alamos County staff on trauma-informed principles and nervous system regulation to support clients and customers of all ages. The training is designed for non-clinical staff and will include practical strategies for recognizing stress- and trauma-related behavioral responses, applying appropriate co-regulation and de-escalation techniques, and supporting employee wellbeing. Offerors must address the format for the training, length of the training, and any requirements for cohort size for each proposed training program.

Period of Performance

The contract term may be for a period of up to one year, with an option for one additional year extension at the sole discretion of the County.

Place of Performance

Training will be conducted at various County work locations in Los Alamos, New Mexico.

Bidder Requirements

Offerors must demonstrate prior experience performing similar work within the last 3-5 years. They are required to list all applicable licenses and certifications for each individual assigned to provide services. Additionally, Offerors must submit a Campaign Contribution Disclosure Form as part of their proposal.
