Background

The Energy, Minerals and Natural Resources Department (EMNRD) Forestry Division is responsible for the prevention and suppression of wildland fires on non-federal and non-municipal lands in New Mexico. The contract aims to provide emergency rental services for portable toilets and handwashing stations during fire incidents, ensuring adequate sanitation facilities for personnel involved in firefighting efforts.

Work Details

The contractor, Quay Rent A John & Septic Service, is required to provide the following items: - 10 portable toilets at a rate of $105.00 per unit, totaling $1,050.00; - 5 handwashing stations at a rate of $105.00 per unit, totaling $525.00; - servicing at a rate of $35.00 per day; - a mileage charge of $2.00 per mile. The total expected cost for the services provided under this agreement is based on these rates.

Period of Performance

The contract is effective from May 15, 2025, until the end of the incident, which will last as long as necessary during emergency conditions.

Place of Performance

The services will be performed in Las Vegas, NM, with specific delivery to locations as required by the incident response efforts.

Bidder Requirements

The contractor must have a DUNS number (92-1631050) and be able to furnish all operating supplies as required by the agreement.
