Background The Defense Microelectronics Activity (DMEA) is seeking to conduct Shock and Vibration testing as part of the QRE Program, which focuses on developing SatCom devices for Department of Defense (DoD) customers. These devices must function effectively in adverse operational environments, necessitating rigorous testing to ensure their reliability and durability under extreme conditions. The goal of this contract is to perform comprehensive Shock and Vibration tests on DMEA’s SatCom Systems to validate their performance in representative environments. Work Details The contractor will perform Shock and Vibration testing according to the test plans provided by DMEA. Specific tasks include: 1. Providing recommendations for tailoring DMEA-provided Test Plans for compatibility with contractor equipment before testing begins. 2. Advising on the necessary fixturing required to integrate Devices Under Test (DUTs) with relevant test equipment. 3. Summarizing all test results in a final technical report for each test cycle/run. Period of Performance The total duration of this contract shall not exceed 2 years, including any options exercised.
