Background The New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene (DOHMH) intends to enter into negotiations for a six-year agreement with Oracle America Inc. for the provision of Millennium PathNet licensed software, maintenance and support, and professional and other related services. The Millennium PathNet is a Laboratory Information System (LIS) implemented at DOHMH Public Health Laboratory (PHL) to manage laboratory operations including order capture, specimen processing, results validation, regulatory reporting, and data archiving. DOHMH has determined that Oracle America Inc./Cerner Corporation is the sole provider of these services. Work Details The anticipated vendor will provide the following services to the NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene: - Provision of Millennium PathNet licensed software - Maintenance and support - Professional and other related services for DOHMH's existing Laboratory Information Systems (LIS). This system is utilized by NYC Public Health Laboratory (PHL) to manage laboratory operations from order capture through specimen processing, results validation, regulatory reporting, and data archiving. Period of Performance The contract is anticipated to be a six-year agreement. Place of Performance Services will be performed at the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene's Public Health Laboratory. Bidder Requirements Any firm that believes it can legally provide the licensed software, maintenance and support, and professional services for DOHMH's existing LIS is invited to submit an Expression of Interest directly to this RFI- EPIN 81626Y0802.
