Summary: Background This solicitation is issued by the United States Military Academy at West Point, NY, for the maintenance and inspection of Mobile Racking Systems located in Building 917. The goal of this contract is to ensure that the racking systems are fully operational and compliant with safety standards, specifically OSHA regulations. Work Details The contractor shall provide all labor, travel, materials, parts, equipment, and supervision necessary to perform quarterly preventive maintenance and inspection services as well as unscheduled maintenance on the Mobile Racking System. Key tasks include: 1. Performing repairs to ensure movable racking systems are operational and compliant with safety standards. 2. Providing a Mobile Racking System Inspection Checklist for each system. 3. Completing all repairs during standard operating hours (0730 - 1630, Monday-Friday). 4. Including a standard industry warranty on all parts and labor. 5. Conducting quarterly preventive inspections and providing written reports within 5 business days after each service, including recommendations for parts replacement if necessary. 6. Notifying the Contract Officer's Representative (COR) about any parts that may become obsolete. 7. Carrying out emergency repairs only under specific conditions outlined in the contract.
