Background The National Park Service (NPS) is issuing this solicitation for the application of Magnesium Chloride to gravel roads at Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park (BLCA) and Curecanti National Recreation Area (CURE). The goal of this contract is to maintain and enhance the road conditions within these national parks, ensuring safe and accessible routes for visitors. This solicitation is a Request for Quote (RFQ) and is set aside for small businesses. Work Details The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to apply Magnesium Chloride to gravel roads at BLCA and CURE. The specific tasks include: 1. Provide 39,000 gallons of Magnesium Chloride for Black Canyon; 2. Provide 22,400 gallons of Magnesium Chloride for Curecanti; 3. Haul 6,000 gallons of water to the BLCA job site.
