Background

The City of Pueblo is soliciting bids from qualified electricians to add electrical power and lights to the shade structure at Lake Minnequa Veterans Park. The goal of this project is to provide electrical service for future music concerts and other community special events. The awarded contractor will be responsible for providing all necessary electrical supplies, components, equipment, and completing all required permits and inspections.

Work Details

The contractor shall provide all electrical supplies and components, products, equipment, PE stamped plans, etc., and complete all permits, trenching/boring, installation, testing, and inspections necessary for the project. Specific tasks include: 1) Designing the electrical service from existing transformers to the shade structure; 2) Obtaining all required permits; 3) Trenching or boring to bring power from the transformer; 4) Installing a unistrut stand near the transformer with conduit leading to a second unistrut stand with a 200-amp service panel containing 20 circuits; 5) Installing five 120-volt receptacles (each on separate breakers), two 220-volt receptacles (each on separate breakers), and four LED lights under the shade structure with a dusk-to-dawn sensor; 6) Restoring turf after any excavation work.

Bidder Requirements

Only experienced and licensed contractors will be considered.
