The department is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide Catch Basin Cleaning Services to maintain the functionality of the stormwater system by removing accumulated debris and sediment. Work Details The Contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, equipment, materials, transportation, traffic control, and incidentals necessary for catch basin cleaning services. Specific tasks include: 1. Complete cleaning of catch basins including: - Removal of debris, sediment, trash, and organic material from grates. - Vacuum removal of solids and liquids from sumps. - Jetting to clear obstructions for a minimum distance of 25 to 50 feet. - Ensuring catch basins are left clean and operable. - Proper handling and disposal of collected materials at MDEQ approved facilities. 2. Worksite management including: - Establishing safe work zones as per MMUTCD guidelines. - Providing necessary traffic control devices (cones, barricades). - Maintaining safe access around work areas. 3.
