Contractors must note that this has been an ongoing effort for multiple years. This contract is the culmination of these efforts and is expected to last approximately 6-12 months. The data rights for the HMIT, associated support equipment, and test equipment are proprietary to Thales Defense Systems and will NOT be provided by the Government for this opportunity. The Government does not have funds for a reverse engineering effort. Thales is the original equipment manufacturer of the HMIT and owns the data rights.
