Primary Latest Change

The F-16 System Program Office (SPO) at Hill Air Force Base in Utah is seeking sources capable of assisting with the transition of maintenance of the Helmet Mounted Integrated Targeting (HMIT) System to the United States owned organic depot. The anticipated contract will include but not be limited to finalization of test stand technical data, Authorization to Operate and final formal acceptance of workload by the US owned depot. Contractors must note that this has been an ongoing effort for multiple years. This contract is the culmination of these efforts and is expected to last approximately 6-12 months. The data rights for the HMIT, associated support equipment, and test equipment are proprietary to Thales Defense Systems and will NOT be provided by the Government for this opportunity. The Government does not have funds for a reverse engineering effort. Thales is the original equipment manufacturer of the HMIT and owns the data rights.
