Background The Mid-Atlantic Tribal Health Center (MATHC) aims to enhance the physical, mental, and spiritual health of the Native American population in the area. This contract is intended to support MATHC's transition to direct care services by providing necessary elevator inspections and repairs for their newly constructed clinic located in Charles City, VA. The clinic, which spans over 25,000 square feet and features a Schindler 3100 MRL traction elevator, is designed to comply with ADA regulations. Work Details The contractor will perform preventative maintenance and repairs on the Schindler elevator at the Mid-Atlantic Tribal Health Center. Specific tasks include: conducting regular inspections and maintenance checks as per applicable regulations; ensuring compliance with ASME, NFPA, and IBC codes; providing written schedules for checks and lubrication; delivering reports for each maintenance performed; and executing regular tests on various elevator components such as landing entrances, car doors, operating panels, safety devices, emergency systems, and electrical connections.
