Background The Indian Health Service (IHS), specifically the Inscription House Health Center (IHHC), is located in Tonalea, Arizona. The IHHC provides ambulatory care to approximately 7,000 residents and is seeking to upgrade its medical cabinetry system to improve workflow and infection control within the Urgent Care Department. This project aims to replace outdated cabinetry that is no longer safe or effective for healthcare use. Work Details The contractor shall provide and install new medical cabinets as per the Statement of Work for the Urgent Care Department at Inscription House Health Center. The work includes: 1. Upgrading the current cabinetry system with non-porous, smooth surface materials suitable for healthcare settings. 2. Removing all old cabinetry systems, including base and wall cabinets, countertops, and plumbing items such as sinks and drain piping. 3. Disposing of old cabinetry and debris safely. 4. Installing new cabinetry systems, which include base cabinets, wall cabinets, countertops, hardware, and plumbing fixtures with sinks and drain piping. 5. Patching and painting walls before and after installation to match existing colors. 6. Ensuring all installations are compliant with healthcare standards to prevent infection spread.
