Background

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) is issuing this Request for Bid (RFB) to establish a contract for the management and maintenance of the Abrams Safety Weight Enforcement Facility (SWEF) located near Little Suamico in Oconto County. The goal of this contract is to ensure the facility's upkeep and operational readiness through various maintenance services.

Work Details

The contractor will be responsible for a range of services including: 1. General maintenance of the facility; 2. Lawn mowing; 3. Janitorial services; 4. Snow removal; 5. Landscaping. Period of Performance

The contract will commence on August 1, 2026, and will last for one year, with four one-year renewal options available by mutual consent. If awarded to a State-qualified work center, the contract will begin on July 1, 2026, and continue indefinitely as long as program criteria are met.
