Background

The Maryland School for the Deaf is issuing this Purchase Order Request for Proposals (PORFP) under the Desktop, Laptop, and Tablet 2015 Master Contract. This solicitation is limited to Master Contractors who have been awarded a contract under the specified Master Contract, 060B5400007. The goal of this contract is to procure Lenovo Chromebooks to support the educational needs of the agency.

Work Details

The contract requires the provision of 70 Lenovo Chromebooks, specifically the Lenovo 14e Chromebook Gen 3 (Model: 82W60001US). The products must be new and unused, and the Master Contractor must be an authorized reseller for Lenovo. The estimated ship date/lead time for each item must be provided in the bid. Additionally, all bids must include a screenshot of the Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) and comply with various special requirements outlined in the solicitation.

Period of Performance

The performance period for this contract is expected to begin upon award and delivery of products by June 29, 2026.

Bidder Requirements

This procurement is designated as a Small Business Reserve (SBR), meaning that only certified small business vendors are eligible to submit bids. Bidders must meet statutory requirements as set forth in State Finance and Procurement Article, §§14-501—14-505. Additionally, bidders must provide a Mercury Affidavit confirming that the offered products do not contain mercury.
