Background

The Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District (Sewer District) is responsible for effective wastewater and stormwater management, serving 62 communities and one million residents. The purpose of this bid is to procure a grease trailer vehicle and various utility bodies, toolboxes, shelving, and emergency lighting to support the Sewer District's operations. This contract aims to enhance the District's fleet capabilities in managing wastewater treatment and stormwater services.

Work Details

The contract includes the purchase and installation of the following items: 1. **Grease Trailer** - Specifications provided in Appendix H. 2. **Stake Body with Crane and Liftgate** - F550 model, specifications in Appendix A. 3. **Open Utility Service Body with Hoist and Front-Mounted Winch** - F350 model, specifications in Appendix B. 4. **Enclosed Utility Service Body** - F350 model, specifications in Appendix F. 5. **Open Utility Service Body** - F350 model, specifications in Appendix G. 6. **Ford Transit HVAC Body Shelving Upfit** - Specifications in Appendix C. 7. **Emergency Lighting Package for Ford Maverick** - Specifications in Appendix D. 8. **Emergency Lighting and Undercoating Upfit for Chevy 3500 Vehicle** - Specifications in Appendix E. All submitted bids must comply with the detailed specifications outlined in the respective appendices, with no exceptions allowed.

Period of Performance

The duration of the contract is open until all vehicles and equipment are received by the Sewer District.

Place of Performance

The delivery location for all vehicles and equipment is the Environmental & Maintenance Services Center at 4747 E.49th Street, Cuyahoga Heights, Ohio 44125.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must comply with all specified requirements including: - Submission of bids electronically through NEORSD’s OpenGov portal. - Compliance with all specifications listed in appendices. - Ability to provide all vehicles and equipment as outlined without exceptions. - Bidders must not be in arrears or default on any previous contracts with NEORSD or other entities within five years prior to the bid opening date.
