Inlet Filters, Inlet Replacement, and Pavement Restoration Project

Background

The Borough of West Easton is issuing an invitation to bid for the Inlet Filters, Inlet Replacement, and Pavement Restoration Project. This project aims to enhance stormwater management and infrastructure near the Borough Hall located at 237 Seventh St., West Easton, PA. The work is part of a CDBG 2024 Grant Project and includes various improvements to existing stormwater systems.

Work Details

The project includes the following tasks: - Demolition and removal of existing storm inlets; - Installation of inlet filters at various locations; - Installation of new stormwater structures; - Minor grading; - Restoration of sidewalks and asphalt through full depth paving. All labor, materials, tools, oversight, and permits required for these activities are included in the scope of work.

Period of Performance

The contract work is expected to commence after the award on June 30, 2026. Specific timelines for milestones and completion will be detailed in the contract documents.

The work will be performed at various locations near the Borough Hall located at 237 Seventh St., West Easton, PA.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must provide a bid bond with a corporate surety authorized to do business in Pennsylvania for 10% of the total bid amount. A performance and payment bond for 100% of the contract value is required from the successful bidder. All prime site contractor bidders must be PennDOT prequalified for their respective tasks, as well as all site subcontractors.
