Westtown Township, located in Chester County, Pennsylvania, is seeking sealed bids for the Oakbourne Mansion Parking and Lighting Upgrades project. The goal of this contract is to enhance the parking facilities and lighting at the historic Oakbourne Mansion, which serves as a community resource. Work Details

The project involves resurfacing an existing paved asphalt parking lot, installing new parking lot lighting, and making other related improvements at the Oakbourne Mansion located at 1014 South Concord Road. Specific work includes: - Site preparation - Asphalt paving - Concrete curbing - Site lighting installation - Appurtenant work All site work excluding lighting and electrical must be completed by October 2, 2026. The bid includes various items such as: - Erosion and sediment controls - Earthwork and removals - Concrete curb installation (334 linear feet) - Asphalt parking lot base repair (500 square yards) - Full depth paving (120 square yards) - Mill and overlay (2,050 square yards) - Concrete walkway paving (138 square feet) - A concrete dumpster pad - Pavement markings and signs - ADA curb ramps (1 each) - Concrete wheel stops (17 each) - Parking lot lights and bases (5 each) - Lighted bollards with footings (3 each) - Electrical conduit/wiring for light poles.

Period of Performance

The contract work is expected to be completed within 90 calendar days from the start date specified in the contract documents. All site work must be completed by October 2, 2026.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must submit a certified check or bid bond of no less than ten percent (10%) of their bid amount.
