Summary: Background The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Fisheries operates under the mission of stewardship of living marine resources. Installation of a new compliant EPDM roofing system that is engineered to prevent future blow-off events. 3. Provision of all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, and supervision necessary for the project. 4. Targeted Asbestos Remediation as required during installation due to identified Asbestos Containing Material (ACM) in transite board samples. 5. Optional task for removal and replacement of an additional EPDM roof covering approximately 7,632 square feet at the Woods Hole Laboratory Aquarium / Population Dynamics Building. 6. Compliance with safety regulations including submission of a Site-Specific Safety Plan and traffic control measures. Period of Performance The contract period is from June 19, 2026, to September 30, 2026, with an optional task period from July 19, 2026, to September 30, 2026. Place of Performance All construction activities will be performed at the Woods Hole Laboratory located at 166 Water Street, Woods Hole, MA. Bidder Requirements Bidders must be Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) concerns. They are required to furnish performance and payment bonds as part of their bid submission. Bidders must demonstrate past experience with similar projects involving removal and disposal of EPDM roofing systems and provide qualifications for key personnel including a Project Manager with relevant certifications.
