Engineering Design Services for CTH G - CTH T Intersection

Background

The St. Croix County Highway Department is seeking proposals for engineering design services for the CTH G and CTH T intersection in the Town of Erin Prairie. This project aims to enhance safety and efficiency at the intersection through the design of a roundabout, with funding provided by the Highway Safety Improvement Program (HSIP). The design phase will be conducted under a three-party contract involving the St. Croix County Highway Department and the Wisconsin Department of Transportation, with construction scheduled for SFY 2030.

Work Details

The selected contractor will provide comprehensive engineering design services, which include: - Developing plans for a roundabout at the CTH G and CTH T intersection. - Conducting traffic studies and evaluations as part of the design process. - Collaborating with WisDOT-qualified designers to ensure compliance with state standards. - Preparing necessary documentation and reports required for project approval. - Engaging in public outreach as needed to inform community stakeholders about project developments.

Period of Performance

The period of performance for this contract will extend from the award date until the completion of the design phase, expected to conclude prior to construction in SFY 2030.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must demonstrate qualifications as a WisDOT-qualified roundabout designer and submit a Statement of Qualifications not exceeding twelve (12) pages.
