The Kenosha County Department of Child and Family Services (DCFS) is seeking a qualified provider to deliver comprehensive supervised visitation services for court-ordered visitation between children placed in out-of-home care and their biological parents, siblings, and other approved family members. The goal of these services is to ensure child safety, promote positive family connections, and provide accurate documentation to support the child’s permanency and well-being.
The contractor will provide supervised visitation services that include: 1) Center-based supervised visitation in a secure, child-friendly facility; 2) Community-based supervised visitation in approved public settings; 3) Home-based supervised visitation when authorized; 4) Virtual visitation support when needed; 5) Sibling visitation coordination; 6) Extended family visitation facilitation as authorized by case plans. Services must be delivered according to Wisconsin state regulations and best practices for child welfare. Staffing requirements include visitation supervisors with relevant degrees and specialized training. The contractor must maintain adequate staffing levels, including bilingual capabilities, and ensure ongoing professional development.
