Work Details

The contract involves the supply of two Pneumatic Ejectors, specifically the Carter Pump Model EJ-150s-ZN or an approved equal. Each ejector must be a 150-gallon simplex unit rated at 150 GPM @ 20 feet TDH, capable of handling raw sewage. The equipment must include: - Cast iron sewage receiver with large openings for debris, control air storage tank, main air manifold, flush air assembly, gate valves, check valves, and all necessary appurtenances. - Sewage Receiver Pots made from closed grain cast iron with a working pressure of 75 PSI and hydrostatic testing at 110 PSI. - Valves and fittings including flanged gate valves and stainless-steel fasteners. - Inlet check valves designed for pneumatic sewage ejectors with removable covers for maintenance. - A mechanical control system for the ejector operation with stainless steel components. - A flush air assembly and main air manifold to regulate air supply and ensure proper operation. All parts must be designed for long-term service with a minimum 30-year warranty against defects.

Period of Performance

The contract performance period is expected to commence upon award. Delivery of the pneumatic ejectors is required within 16 weeks from the date of award.

Place of Performance

The products will be delivered to the Madison Metropolitan Sewerage District office located at 1610 Moorland Road, Madison, Wisconsin 53713.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must have been in the business of providing pneumatic ejectors for at least three years. They must provide a written warranty ensuring that all manufactured parts are brand new and free from defects in quality or workmanship. Bidders are required to submit their bids using Bid Form A and provide fixed costs in U.S. Dollars.
