Rhinelander Pest and Rodent Control

Background

The contract is issued by the USDA, specifically the Northern Research Station (NRS), to provide pest control services at the Rhinelander Forestry Lab and Harshaw Research Farm. The primary goal of this contract is to protect scientific research, plants, and equipment from pests that could cause significant financial loss. The services will ensure a safe working environment for employees by managing pests such as rodents, ants, flies, wasps, and roaches. Work Details: The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, services, skills, transportation, supervision, and necessary tools and equipment for pest control services. Key tasks include: 1) Conducting a complete initial inspection of the facilities before service initiation; 2) Performing routine maintenance with twelve monthly services and three seasonal sprays; 3) Implementing rodent control and managing various insect populations; 4) Utilizing specialized pest management applications including insecticides and rodenticides; 5) Ensuring no pesticides or equipment are stored on government property; 6) Locating control devices on a master logistic plan with a corresponding schedule; 7) Clearly identifying traps with signage; 8) Maintaining E.P.A. registered rodenticides in feeding stations; 9) Submitting a customized Rodent Control Report after each service detailing device activity. Period of Performance: Base Year: August 17, 2025 - August 16, 2026; Option Year 1: August 17, 2026 - August 16, 2027; Option Year 2: August 17, 2027 - August 16, 2028; Option Year 3: August 17, 2028 - August 16, 2029; Option Year 4: August 17, 2029 - August 16, 2030.
