Background The USDA Forest Service (FS) Washington Office Law Enforcement Region 13 Subregion 8 is seeking to procure two new 2026 Utility Terrain Vehicles (UTVs) to support law enforcement operations in forest environments. The goal of this contract is to secure a qualified vendor who can provide UTVs that meet specific operational requirements and specifications. Work Details The contractor is required to deliver two (2) new 2026 Utility Terrain Vehicles (UTVs) configured for operational use. The UTVs must meet the following specifications: - Manufacturer: Any - Model: Wolverine Any - Model Year: 2026 (New, unused, current production) - Engine: Minimum 847cc, liquid-cooled, fuel-injected - Drive System: Selectable 2WD / 4WD with differential lock - Transmission: Automatic Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) - Fuel System: Electronic Fuel Injection (EFI) - Steering: Electric Power Steering (EPS) - Braking System: Hydraulic disc brakes - Suspension: Independent front and rear suspension - Payload Capacity: Manufacturer standard minimum - Towing Capacity: Manufacturer standard minimum Additionally, each UTV must include: - Installed accessories such as a winch with a minimum capacity of 3,500 lbs, premium LED headlights, and a full skid plate protection. The vehicles will be delivered to USDA FS Region 13 Subregion 8 Law Enforcement at 160 Zillicoa Street Asheville, NC 28801. If the vendor is outside of a 100-mile radius from Asheville, delivery will be required.
