2026 Street Maintenance Project Hot In Place Recycling (HIPR)

Background

The City of Georgetown is issuing this solicitation for the 2026 Street Maintenance Project, specifically focusing on Hot In Place Recycling (HIPR). The goal of this project is to enhance the city's infrastructure by performing necessary street maintenance activities, which aligns with the city's mission to provide safe and efficient transportation systems for its residents.

Work Details

The project involves furnishing, installing, and providing all labor and materials required for approximately 130,000 square yards of hot-in-place asphalt recycling. Specific tasks include: edge milling, full depth HMAC repair, adjustment of water valves and manholes, tree pruning, traffic control, and miscellaneous striping. Bidders are responsible for ensuring they have a complete set of bidding documents as defined in the Instructions to Bidders.

Period of Performance

The contract will commence upon award and is expected to be completed within a timeframe specified in the bidding documents. The response deadline for bids is June 2, 2026.

Place of Performance

The work will be performed within the City of Georgetown, Texas.

Bidder Requirements

Bids must be accompanied by a cashier’s check or bid bond. Bidders are required to register on the City of Georgetown’s E-bid website. A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held on May 26, 2026. Additionally, bidders must certify that they do not engage in business with Iran, Sudan, or foreign terrorist organizations.
