The services required include, but are not limited to: - Individual counseling - Family counseling - Group counseling - Other behavioral health services as needed for students and families served by the FWISD Family Resource Centers (FRCs) Providers must have qualified staff capable of facilitating these services to FWISD students, particularly targeting indigent, uninsured, or low-income families who have high need and low access to behavioral health care.

Requesting Entity

This solicitation is issued by the Fort Worth Independent School District.

Contract Background

FWISD, through its Family Resource Center program, offers access and referrals to behavioral health and related services for students and their families. Referrals to the FRC may come from District staff, community professionals, or self-referral. FRC staff conduct intake and assessment, then coordinate service options and dispositions. To provide family-friendly service plans, FRCs host co-located providers such as counselors, social workers, educators, case managers/coordinators, intake specialists, and other behavioral health professionals. While many services at FRC sites are available free of charge or via memorandums of understanding between FWISD and providers, specialty or high-demand services not covered by these agreements must be contracted annually. This RFP specifically addresses the need to secure such services for populations with limited access, especially indigent, uninsured, or low-income students and families.

Contract Requirements

The period of performance for the resulting contract will begin on the date of award and continue through June 30, 2027. Pricing must remain firm for the initial contract period. All purchase orders for these services must be dated and issued within the contract term.
