Background

The City and County of Honolulu is seeking to furnish and deliver various passenger vehicles to support the Department of Facility Maintenance (DFM). The goal of this contract is to procure vehicles that reduce dependence on petroleum-based fuels, aligning with the city's sustainability initiatives.

Work Details

The contractor will be responsible for furnishing and delivering the following vehicles: 1. **5 Passenger Sport Utility Vehicle** - Quantity: 3 - Specifications: New, current production year or later, 4-door SUV, AWD options (Battery Electric Vehicle, Plug-In Hybrid Electric Vehicle, Non Plug-In Hybrid Electric Vehicle), compliance with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards, factory-installed air conditioning, and rust preventative treatment. 2. **5 Passenger Sport Utility Vehicle with 2-Way Radio** - Quantity: 1 - Specifications: Same as above with additional installation of a P25 700/800MHz Trunking 2-Way Radio including specific Motorola models and features. Pre-delivery responsibilities include preparing vehicle registration forms in the name of the City, ensuring compliance with safety requirements, conducting thorough inspections, and addressing any defects. Delivery must be made fully assembled and operational to the specified location in Aiea, Hawaii.

Period of Performance

Delivery is required within 360 calendar days from the commencement date indicated on the Notice-to-Proceed.

Bidder Requirements
