Frozen Vegetables for Distribution and Support Services

Background

Work Details

The contract involves providing frozen mixed vegetables, specifically a Summer/California blend consisting of broccoli, cauliflower, and carrots. The product must meet specific quality standards equivalent to US Grade B and have a minimum shelf life of 720 days from production. Each case should contain 12 plastic bags weighing 2 lbs each (totaling 24 lbs per case). The estimated order quantity over the four-year term is approximately 28,000 cases with a minimum order quantity of 700 cases per order. Delivery must occur within thirty (30) calendar days after receipt of order (ARO), directly to DSS at their specified address.

Period of Performance

The base term of this Contract shall be for four (4) years with an anticipated effective date starting June 1, 2026. The contract may be extended up to three (3) additional years with mutual consent.

Place of Performance

Deliveries will be made to the Department of the Treasury Distribution & Support Services located at 1620 Stuyvesant Avenue, West Trenton, New Jersey 08625-0234.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must comply with specific certifications including a Business Registration Certificate from New Jersey. This solicitation includes set-asides for Small Business and Disabled Veteran-Owned Businesses. Bidders are required to submit various forms such as the Ownership Disclosure Form and Disclosure of Investment Activities in Iran Form along with their Quotes.
