Work Details

The selected service provider will deliver a turnkey end-to-end solution that includes: - Daily mail pick-up; - Payment processing for standard and nonstandard items with same-day deposit capabilities; - All necessary personnel, equipment, facilities, and transportation for secure handling, processing, storage, and delivery of remittance items. Specific requirements include: 1. System Interface with Oracle Customer Care and Billing. 2. Daily mail pick-up. 3. Same-day processing and transmission of payment information by 2 PM. 4. Daily deposits to the City’s bank. 5. Secure data handling and confidentiality. 6. Backup plans for service continuity in case of disaster or equipment failure. 7. Imaging and archiving of transaction items for three years accessible to designated City employees. 8. Provision of hard copy or electronic copies upon request with specified retrieval times and costs.
