Background The Indian Health Service (IHS), an agency within the Department of Health and Human Services, is responsible for providing federal healthcare services to American Indians and Alaska Natives. The IHS aims to raise the health status of these populations to the highest possible level, serving approximately 2.6 million individuals across 573 federally recognized tribes. The Chinle Comprehensive Health Care Facility (CCHCF) is located in a rural area of the Navajo Reservation in Chinle, Arizona, and provides medical care to around 35,000 Navajos. This contract seeks to procure two Hospitalist/Nocturnist healthcare providers to support this mission. Work Details The contractor will provide non-personal service healthcare providers who will perform outpatient and inpatient Hospitalist Physician Services at CCHCF. Key responsibilities include: - Ensuring a steady supply of qualified candidates who meet specific criteria including board certification, completion of US residency, and no lapses in licensure or practice. - Candidates must commit to a minimum schedule of 7 days on/7 days off for at least four weeks. - Providing comprehensive support for patient care delivery, ensuring continuity of care, and maintaining accurate medical records. - Adapting to CSU’s practice environment and collaborating with healthcare staff. - Meeting all regulatory compliance requirements and maintaining active credentialing throughout the contract term.
