The Commonwealth of Kentucky, through the Finance and Administration Cabinet, is issuing this solicitation for the procurement of cattle feed for KCI Farms. The goal of this contract is to provide necessary nutritional support for cattle managed by the Department of Corrections, ensuring their growth and health during critical periods such as weaning. This solicitation aims to establish a Master Agreement for the supply of cattle feed, specifically targeting agencies that require these products.

Work Details

The contractor will supply 65 tons of 14% Feed Crude Protein, which is a pelleted, nutrient-dense feed designed to supplement cattle on pasture or hay. This feed provides essential energy, vitamins, and minerals to support cattle growth. Deliveries will be made to two locations: - Roederer Complex (4000 Morgan Road, La Grange, KY 40031) with an estimated requirement of 50 tons per year - Northpoint Training Center (710 Walter Reed Road, Danville, KY 40422) with an estimated requirement of 15 tons per year. Pricing must include all shipping and delivery charges.

Period of Performance

The initial contract period will be for one year from the date of award, with options for four additional two-year extensions subject to mutual agreement.
