Background

The Kenton County Airport Board (KCAB) is seeking proposals for Interior Landscaping and Seasonal Decoration at the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG). The goal is to enhance the aesthetic appeal of the airport facilities while ensuring operational efficiency and passenger safety.

Work Details

The contractor will be responsible for: 1. **Interior Landscaping**: - Design, install, and maintain all interior landscapes, including seasonal plants like poinsettias. - Provide all necessary plants, labor, materials, tools, and equipment for installation and maintenance in designated areas such as the Main Terminal and Concourse A. - Develop a plant master plan detailing plant descriptions, quantities, and installation dates. - Conduct routine maintenance weekly to ensure plant health, including watering, fertilizing, cleaning, and replacing potting materials. - Maintain a clean appearance in all planted areas, free from debris and excess dryness. - Specific locations include Administration Offices, Main Terminal Ticketing Level, Baggage Claim Level, Concourse A & B hubs. 2. **Seasonal Decorations**: - Design, provide, install, maintain, and remove holiday decorations in various areas of CVG. - Ensure decorations complement the airport's visual appeal without hindering passenger flow or safety. - Locations for decoration include Main Terminal areas and external decorations along public access roads.

Period of Performance

The contract will commence on October 1, 2026, and continue until September 30, 2029. There is an option to renew for two additional one-year terms.

Place of Performance

Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG), specifically in areas such as the Main Terminal, Concourse A & B, Consolidated Rental Car Facility, and Administration Offices at 77 Comair Blvd.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must comply with all applicable laws and regulations. They are required to provide proof of insurance coverage including general liability and workers' compensation insurance. Additionally, bidders must submit a detailed proposal that includes qualifications of the firm and key personnel involved in the project.
