Administration & Analysis of the YRBS, School Health Profiles, & YTS Surveys

Background

The State of Delaware, through its Department of Health and Social Services, is seeking to engage a Vendor to provide professional services related to the administration and analysis of the Youth Risk Behavior Survey (YRBS), School Health Profiles, and Youth Tobacco Survey (YTS). The goal of this contract is to obtain specific services that will aid in understanding health-related behaviors among youth in Delaware.

Work Details

The Vendor will be responsible for performing the following services: 1. Administration of the YRBS, School Health Profiles, and YTS surveys, including data collection and management. 2. Analysis of survey data to produce reports that summarize findings and trends. 3. Development of recommendations based on survey results to inform health policies and programs. 4. Collaboration with state officials to ensure alignment with public health goals. 5. Compliance with all relevant federal and state laws regarding data privacy and protection, particularly concerning Protected Health Information (PHI). 6. Submission of monthly progress reports detailing activities undertaken and outcomes achieved.

Period of Performance

The contract will commence on the effective date specified in the agreement and will continue for a period of one year, with options for renewal based on performance and funding availability.

Place of Performance

The services will primarily be performed within the State of Delaware, with potential travel required for data collection or stakeholder meetings as necessary.

Bidder Requirements

Vendors must possess a valid business license in the State of Delaware as per 30 Del. C. § 2101. Additionally, Vendors must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, including those related to HIPAA regulations concerning PHI. Vendors are required to maintain appropriate insurance coverage throughout the duration of the contract.
