Background The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), Alaska Science Center (ASC), requires continued maintenance and support for an existing StarWind HyperConverged Appliance (HCA) environment. The existing system consists of two Dell OEMR R740xd2 servers configured as a hyperconverged appliance, which is nearing the end of its supported lifecycle. Continued support is essential to maintain operational capability until a planned transition to a cloud-based environment is completed. Work Details The Contractor shall provide maintenance and support services necessary to sustain the existing StarWind HCA environment, including compatibility with existing hardware and software configurations. The specific tasks include: 1. Provide maintenance renewal for StarWind HCA hardware and software; 2. Provide remote technical support for troubleshooting system issues; 3. Provide access to software updates, patches, and system fixes as applicable; 4. Provide hardware support, including diagnosis and coordination of replacement components for aging systems; 5. Provide access to support resources, including ticketing and technical documentation. Deliverables include active support coverage for the StarWind HCA environment, documentation verifying the support coverage period, and access to support services.
