Background The Bureau of Reclamation's Hydraulics Laboratory is seeking to conduct market research through this Sources Sought Synopsis to identify potential sources for procuring equipment for their high-head test facility. This facility is essential for conducting research experiments related to dams and associated structures, simulating real-world conditions of water speed and pressure. The goal is to determine if the procurement can be competitive and/or a total Small Business Set-Aside, with a focus on small businesses including 8(a), Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned, Hubzone, and Women-Owned concerns. Work Details The project involves the procurement, delivery, and installation of a high-head pumping system which includes: - A Seven Stage Vertical Turbine Pump - A 250 hp Pumping Unit - A 250 hp 3-phase Motor - A Vertical High Head Pumping Unit with enclosure - Installation of the new pumping unit and removal of the existing one - Associated hardware necessary for the operation of the new system. The contractor will also be responsible for uninstalling, removing, and disposing of existing equipment. Place of Performance The work will be performed at the Bureau of Reclamation’s Hydraulics Laboratory located in Denver, Colorado.
