Background

The Department of Facility Maintenance (DFM) of the City & County of Honolulu, Hawaii, is seeking bids for the procurement of compact pickup trucks. The goal of this contract is to furnish and deliver vehicles that meet specific operational requirements, including reduced dependence on petroleum-based fuels.

Work Details

The contractor is required to furnish and deliver two types of compact pickup trucks with the following specifications: 1. Compact Pickup Truck with Crew Cab, AWD, Auxiliary Lighting (RQS-DFM-2600663): - Quantity: 4 - Specifications include a new model with a 5-passenger capacity, AWD, cargo bed dimensions of 54 inches at floor with drain holes, and various safety and comfort features such as factory-installed air conditioning and a rotating beacon. - Powertrain options include Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV), Plug-In Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV), or Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV). - Warranty: 8 years or 100,000 miles on EV components. 2. Compact Pickup Truck with Crew Cab, AWD, Auxiliary Lighting and Material Rack (RQS-DFM-2600664): - Quantity: 1 - Similar specifications as above but includes an additional material rack over the cab.

Period of Performance

Delivery is required within 360 calendar days from the commencement date indicated on the Notice-to-Proceed (NTP).

Place of Performance

Delivery shall be made to the Department of Facility Maintenance, Division of Automotive Equipment Service, Halawa Corporation Yard, 99-999 Iwaena Street, Aiea, Hawaii 96701.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must comply with all applicable Federal and State laws regarding vehicle safety and registration. Additionally, bidders must provide proof of compliance with licensing requirements under Chapter 437 of the Hawaii Revised Statutes within three calendar days upon request by the City.
