Early Childhood Education Wrap-Around Program Services

Background

The Passaic Board of Education is soliciting Requests for Proposals (RFPs) to establish a contract with a qualified provider to deliver a developmentally appropriate wraparound early childhood program and curriculum at Schools No. 3, 6, 7, 15, and 24. The Board serves a diverse, high-need student population, including many multilingual learners and families who depend on consistent, high-quality early childhood programming. The district has invested in expanding access to full-day preschool and aligning instruction with research-based practices. As enrollment grows, there is a need for extended-day services that match the quality and rigor of the preschool programs.

Work Details

The selected provider will be responsible for delivering a comprehensive wraparound early childhood education program that includes: - Developmentally appropriate curriculum aligned with state standards. - Extended-day services that support working families. - Coordination with existing preschool programs to ensure continuity in education. - Engagement with parents and families to foster involvement in their children's education. - Compliance with all relevant regulations and standards set forth by the New Jersey Department of Education.

Period of Performance

The contract will commence upon award and is expected to align with the academic calendar for the 2026-2027 school year.

Place of Performance

Services will be performed at Schools No. 3, 6, 7, 15, and 24 within the Passaic City School District in New Jersey.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must comply with several requirements including: - Submission of a valid Business Registration Certificate. - Evidence of an existing federally approved affirmative action program or completion of an employee information report prior to contract execution. - Compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). - Submission of a notarized Non-Collusion Affidavit. - Certification regarding investment activities in Iran as per New Jersey law. - Proof of insurance coverage as specified in the RFP documents.
