Background

St. Tammany Parish Government is seeking a contractor to improve pedestrian walkways by removing and replacing concrete sidewalks at various locations off Lake Village Blvd, Slidell, LA. This project is classified under Highway, Street, and Bridge Construction, aiming to enhance public safety and accessibility in the area.

Work Details

The contractor shall provide all necessary labor, equipment, tools, testing, and materials for the project. Specific locations for sidewalk replacement include: - Amber Ct (R08L058) - E Lake Catahoula Ct (R08L059) - S Black Lake Ct (R08L035) - S Bundick Lake Ct (R08L032) - S Ferry Lake Ct (R08L037) - S Lake Caddo Ct (R08L043) - S Lake Verret Ct (R08L039) - S Lake Washington Ct (R08L041) - S Lake Catahoula Ct (R08L060) in Slidell, LA. The project must be completed within sixty (60) calendar days from the issuance of the Notice to Proceed. The contractor must maintain accurate records of any changes during construction and ensure all work complies with applicable laws and standards.

Period of Performance

The contract will commence upon the Parish President's signature or written approval and will terminate upon satisfactory completion of all services or as specified in the contract terms.

The work will be performed at various locations off Lake Village Blvd, Slidell, LA.

Bidder Requirements

Contractors must hold a valid State Contractor’s License for Highway, Street, and Bridge Construction if the estimated cost of work is $50k or more. A W-9 form must be submitted if the contractor has not previously done business with the Parish. The contractor is responsible for all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, permits, taxes, and compliance with local laws.
