AC Unit Repair/Replacement

Background

The Regional Transit Authority (RTA) of New Orleans is seeking a qualified vendor to provide repair and replacement services for air conditioning units at two of its locations. The RTA's mission is to ensure efficient public transportation services in the region, and this contract aims to maintain the operational efficiency of their facilities through proper HVAC system management.

Work Details

The contractor will be responsible for the following services: 1. Replacing one AC unit at the ENO service Isle Condenser with a CCY 3-ton AC unit, 14 SEER, single-stage, model 454B MARA. 2. Replacing one AC unit at the ENO service Isle Evaporator Coil with a 3.0-ton fan coil, model ECN MPOS, aluminum, R454B. 3. Replacing one heat strip at the ENO service Isle with a 10KW heat strip equipped with a breaker.

Period of Performance

The contract is expected to commence upon award and will continue until all specified services are completed. An estimated timeline will be provided by the vendor during the bidding process.

Place of Performance

The services will be performed at two RTA locations in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Bidder Requirements

Vendors must demonstrate qualifications relevant to HVAC systems and possess any necessary licenses or certifications required for performing such work in Louisiana.
