Background

The City of Amarillo, Texas, is soliciting bids for the purchase of rock crusher screenings to be utilized by the Amarillo Street Department. This initiative aims to support street maintenance operations within the city.

Work Details

The successful bidder must own their trucks for prompt delivery and ensure that deliveries are made within 24 hours of order placement as determined by the Director of the Street Department. Deliveries are to be made to The City Of Amarillo Service Center located at 800 SE 23rd, Amarillo, Texas 79103. The unit of measure for this contract is tons (TN).

Period of Performance

The contract will be for a term of one year with an option for four additional one-year extensions, commencing upon formal approval.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must provide an insurance certificate compliant with city specifications prior to receiving a purchase order. They must also certify that they are not suspended or debarred by any federal agency and comply with Texas Government Code regarding boycotting energy companies and Israel. Additionally, local vendors may apply for local preference consideration if their principal place of business is within Amarillo city limits.
