Concrete Repair Project Phase 1

Background

Grambling State University is issuing a solicitation for the Concrete Repair Project Phase 1. The project aims to maintain the integrity of the university's infrastructure through necessary repairs to concrete structures. The university's mission includes providing a safe and conducive environment for its students and staff, which this project supports.

Work Details

The contractor will be responsible for performing concrete repairs as specified in the solicitation documents. This includes but is not limited to: assessing existing concrete conditions, preparing surfaces for repair, applying appropriate repair materials, and ensuring all work meets specified standards of quality and safety. The contractor must provide all necessary labor, materials, tools, and equipment to complete the project. The work must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations.

Period of Performance

The contract period will commence upon award notification and is expected to last until the completion of the project, with an estimated duration not exceeding twelve (12) months.

Place of Performance

All work will be performed at Grambling State University, located in Grambling, Louisiana.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must submit a bid bond equal to 5% of the total bid amount for projects over $25,000. Bidders are required to have a Louisiana Contractor’s License if applicable. Additionally, bidders must provide proof of insurance coverage naming Grambling State University as an additional insured. Compliance with the Louisiana Initiative for Small Entrepreneurships and Veteran Initiatives is encouraged.
