Renovation Woodway Park

The Lake Charles Housing Authority is seeking bids for the renovation of Woodway Park, located on Badger Street. The scope of work includes furnishing all labor and materials, as well as the complete performance of all renovation activities required for this project. The solicitation is issued by the Lake Charles Housing Authority Board of Commissioners. This contract is part of the Authority's ongoing efforts to maintain and improve its housing facilities. The project is specifically for the renovation of Woodway Park. Contract requirements include: - Only Prime Contractors licensed under LA R.S. 37:2150-2163 for the classification of Building Construction may submit bids. - Bids must be sealed and clearly marked with the Contractor's License Number on the outside of the envelope. - All bids will be publicly opened and read at the designated place and time. - No proposal may be withdrawn within thirty (30) calendar days after the scheduled opening. - The Authority reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities. Instructions for submission: - Bids will be received until June 9, 2026, at 2:00 PM, in the Housing Authority Central Office Board Room, 400 W. Hale Street, Lake Charles, Louisiana. - Bids may be hand delivered, sent by registered or certified mail with return receipt requested, or submitted electronically online. - Bids submitted by facsimile transmission or FAX will not be accepted. - Complete Bidding Documents are available from Randy M Goodloe, AIA APAC, 725 Kirby St., Lake Charles, LA 70601, (337) 436-3036; amy@goodarch.com. Printed copies are not available from the Architect, but arrangements can be made through most reprographic firms. Plan holders are responsible for their own reproduction costs.
