Background The U.S. Secret Service (USSS) is responsible for protecting high-profile government officials and designated protectees against a range of evolving threats. The proliferation of unmanned aerial systems (UAS) has introduced new risks to secure environments and protective operations, necessitating the implementation of a specialized Counter-Unmanned Aerial Systems (C-UAS) program. This contract aims to provide urgent engineering support services to maintain, enhance, and rapidly adapt C-UAS capabilities in response to these emerging threats. Work Details The contract requires urgent engineering support services for the USSS’ C-UAS program with the following objectives: 1. Ensure C-UAS systems operate securely, effectively, and reliably across diverse operational environments while maintaining compliance with stringent cybersecurity and National Security System (NSS) standards. 2. Enhance system integration and validation practices through rigorous testing, evaluation, and continuous improvement methodologies to ensure interoperability and mission readiness. 3. Utilize advanced analytics and data-driven insights to assess mission performance, identify operational gaps, and inform decision-making for capability enhancements. 4. Maintain transparency, accountability, and strategic alignment through disciplined program management, comprehensive risk oversight, and proactive stakeholder engagement to ensure contract activities are mission-focused and cost-effective. Period of Performance The contract is structured as a one-year purchase order.
