Kodiak Office Electrical Work

Background

The Alaska Department of Fish and Game (ADF&G) is seeking quotes from qualified contractors to conduct electrical repairs at the ADF&G Kodiak Office. The goal of this contract is to ensure the proper functioning and safety of electrical systems within the office facilities.

Work Details

The contractor will be responsible for the following tasks: 1. Replace all lighting in 6 bathrooms, including new can lights, emergency lights, and new bulbs in wall fixtures. 2. Replace burnt-out lamps with LED in office areas, bypassing ballasts as necessary. 3. Replace burnt-out lamps in lobby fixtures with the same type as existing and replace ballasts as needed. 4. Replace ballasts and lamps in hallway fixtures, including can lights and emergency lights. The total budget for this project is set at a not-to-exceed amount of $50,000.00. Certified payroll is required for quotes exceeding $25,000.

Period of Performance

The contract work is expected to commence upon award and must be completed within a timeframe agreed upon by both parties.

Place of Performance

The work will be performed at the ADF&G Kodiak Office located at 351 Research Ct, Kodiak, Alaska.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must hold a valid Alaska business license and are encouraged to qualify for Alaska bidder preferences. Additionally, bidders must provide a list of subcontractors within five working days of notice from the state if selected as the apparent low bidder.
