Background

The Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Utilities is issuing this contract for the installation and upgrade of water distribution systems. The goal is to enhance the waterline infrastructure in residential neighborhoods, downtown corridors, and along rural highways to ensure efficient water distribution.

Work Details

The Scope of Work includes: - Installation of approximately 60 LF of 4-inch waterline, 650 LF of 6-inch waterline, and 5,640 LF of 8-inch waterline in residential neighborhoods and downtown corridors, including two segments installed by bore and jack methods. - Installation of approximately 3,530 LF of 12-inch waterline along a rural highway, including one segment installed by bore and jack methods. - Installation of 13 owner-provided Sampling Stations and 6 owner-provided Automatic Flushing Devices. - Removal of a valve vault and reconfiguration of waterline piping. - Traffic control, site restoration, and related work.
