The Plaquemines Parish Government is seeking sealed proposals for a pre-position emergency contract to provide the following services: - Marsh Buggy Equipment and Operator Services (Project Number: 26-00-04) - Saltwater Intrusion - Reverse Osmosis Units (Project Number: 26-00-05) - Saltwater Intrusion - Reservoir Water Barges (Project Number: 26-00-06)

Requesting Agency

This solicitation is issued by the Plaquemines Parish Office of Engineering & Public Works, located at 333 F. Edward Hebert Blvd., Bldg. 500, Belle Chasse, LA, 70037.

Background

In accordance with Act 70 of the 1946 Regular Session of the Louisiana Revised Statutes of 1950, as amended, and other applicable laws, this is the second advertisement for proposals to secure emergency services contracts in anticipation of potential needs related to marsh buggy operations and saltwater intrusion mitigation.

Contract Requirements

All proposals must be submitted by Louisiana Licensed Contractors. Contractors must be licensed in accordance with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations of the State of Louisiana and the Parish of Plaquemines. Evidence of proper license classification must be provided at the time specifications are obtained, and the license number must be clearly displayed on the outside of the sealed proposal.

Instructions on Submission

Sealed proposals must be delivered to the Plaquemines Parish Office of Engineering & Public Works, 333 F. Edward Hebert Blvd., Bldg. 500, Belle Chasse, Louisiana, before 10:00 a.m., CDT, on Friday, June 12, 2026. Specifications and instructions are available at the office for any bonafide Louisiana Licensed Contractor.
