Background

The School District of Springfield R-12, the largest school district in Missouri, is seeking competitive bids for logo shirts through an Invitation for Bid (IFB). The district aims to procure high-quality apparel that meets their standards and requirements. The contract will support the district's mission of providing educational excellence to over 24,500 students across various schools and programs.

Work Details

The contract involves the supply of various logo shirts and related apparel items. Specific products include: 1. Port Authority S508 or equivalent shirts - 4.5-ounce, 55/45 cotton/poly blend with features like a button-down collar, dyed-to-match buttons, left chest pocket, and available in multiple colors and sizes (Small to 6XL). 2. Port Authority S608 or equivalent shirts with adjustable cuffs. 3. Port Authority S500T or equivalent twill shirts - 5-ounce, 100% cotton with double needle stitching. 4. Various styles of polo shirts including Port Authority K500LS, K500, K8000, and LK8000 with different fabric compositions and features. 5. Gildan T-shirts (8000 and 8300) made from a preshrunk cotton/polyester blend. 6. Scrub tops and pants in various sizes and colors. 7. Carhartt workwear including hooded sweatshirts and rugged jeans. 8. Nike Dri Fit Micro Pique Polo - made from moisture-wicking fabric. 9. Logo placement fees for embroidery services.

Period of Performance

The contract period will commence upon award for one year with options to renew for two additional one-year periods.

Place of Performance

The products will be delivered to the School District's Distribution Center located at General Services Center, 1458 E. Chestnut Expressway, Springfield, MO 65802.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must comply with specific requirements including: - Submission of a completed Substitute W-9 Plus form instead of a standard W-9 form. - Compliance with the Federal Work Authorization Program Affidavit regarding employment eligibility verification. - Adherence to the District's Supplier Code of Ethics and policies regarding conflict of interest. - Bidders must provide firm pricing for all items listed in the bid document.
