Ellevation Legacy Procurement

Work Requested

Granite School District intends to award a contract for the procurement of Ellevation without engaging in a standard procurement process. This notice is issued in accordance with Utah Code Part 63G-6a Part 8 and Utah Administrative Code R33-108. The work involves the acquisition of a proprietary procurement item, Ellevation, for which it has been determined there is only one source, or transitional costs are a significant consideration.

Background

Under the Utah Procurement Code, a purchase may be made without a standard procurement process if it is determined in writing that there is only one source for the procurement item, or if transitional costs are significant. This notice serves as a public declaration of the district's intent to proceed in this manner.

Contract Requirements

- The procurement item must meet or exceed the specifications outlined for Ellevation. - If transitional costs are identified as the justification, a cost comparison of identified transitional costs with any anticipated transitional costs from a competing vendor must be provided. - Vendors must demonstrate the ability to provide a comparable or better procurement item, or the same proprietary item, or an equivalent procurement item.

This is not a request for quotes, bids, or proposals. Do not submit questions, bids, no-bids, or other information in this system. However, if you are a qualified vendor who meets the specifications of this notice and wish to contest the intent to award, you must submit the following information via email only to Adar Livni-Sullivan at alivni@graniteschools.org prior to the event close date: - The name of the contesting vendor and contact person - A detailed explanation of the challenge, including documentation showing that there are other competing sources for the procurement item - Documentation that you can provide a comparable or better procurement item that meets or exceeds the specifications - Documentation that you can provide the same proprietary procurement item or an equivalent procurement item - If transitional costs are identified as the justification, a cost comparison of the identified transitional costs with your anticipated transitional costs
